No, I ain't not been converted, I still badboy!

I've been greatly enjoying a bit of Lowculture recently, and I have that joy to thank for leading me to a cracking site by the name of Two Slugs Kissing (link goes to blog, but all of it is pretty damn good. Especially this fantastic page of wonderful Christian album covers featuring such luminaries as the Handless Organist and Freddie Gage's intensely moving album entitled.....well, see for yourself.

This story from last week whetted my slang loins somewhat. It occurred to me that (and rather unfortunately, paraphrasing Staind) it's been a while since any new swearage or curseabuse entered my vocab.

If you think about it, it's over 5 years since many of us first uttered the word 'fucknut'. I guess 'Cocksmoker is the most used recent addition.

This is where the user-expanding Urban Dictionary comes in useful. As well as providing varied definitons of popular swears, new and strange ones appear too! My favourites of the new bunch include 'cruntox', 'metric shitload' and the rather gross 'cabbage patch snatch'. Although the UD loses points for not having any 'scruttocks' in there. Shame on you. Although the positive adjective 'scrumtchafuckingadiddlyumtious' does counterbalance this somewhat.
